So Anyone else a little disturbed about how calm and collected Shepard is after pulling the plug on an entire Batarian solar system???
I mean sure no one really likes Batarians. They are the assholes of the galaxy, next to reapers, but still. YA KILLED AN ENTIRE SOLAR SYSTEM WITH A RACE OF PEOPLE THATS PROLLY GOIN TO RESULT IN A GALACTIC WAR. I think I made my point.
So this lil comic, ripped right from the pages of my sketchbook, is my reaction to the destruction and how i think Shepard would have reacted.

Shepard's reaction to Arrival (or lack thereof) is especially creepy considering that Mass Effect 3 keeps banging you over the head regarding her grief that she couldn't save that annoying kid who couldn't act yet she's only allowed to show stony faced machosim over the 300'000 deaths she was directly involved in. Even worse is the implication that one human death is worse than thousands of aliens.
An argument could be made that the circumstances were different (she was arguably able to dehumanise the Batarians since she only saw the event from a distance, while she knew the brat face to face and saw his death directly). But in most other circumstances Shepard can respond in radically different ways, so the limited choice of reactions make it seem like the game’s saying that these are the only valid reaction Shepard, and by extension the player can have.
